Stainless Steel 17-4 PH Rods is a chromium-copper precipitation hardening stainless steel that is used for applications requiring high strength and a moderate level of corrosion resistance. Alloy 630 Rods is magnetic, readily welded, and has good fabricating characteristics, though it will lose some toughness at higher temperatures. High strength of Stainless Steel S17400 Bars is maintained to approximately 600 degrees Fahrenheit (316 degrees Celsius).
