Key features

    1. Elbow is a standard fitting but the bends are custom fabricated.

    2. All elbows are bends but all bends are not elbows.

    3. Bend has a larger radius than elbows.

    4. Long radius elbows give less frictional resistance to the fluid than short elbows.

    5. Long radius elbows create lesser pressure drop than short radius elbows.

    6. Short radius is less costly than long radius elbows.
