Back Ferrule is a bracelet-like structure used in pipe fittings. It is the form of ring or cap attach to an element to avoid damage, wear, and splitting. Usually, it is a rigid tube used to align and protected the stripped end of a fiber. It is designed with a special type of connector that connects the fiber cable to another cable to a transmitter or receiver. This ferrule keeps fiber align with the connector. These are made of many materials or one can demand any special materials as per their requirements. These are designed for service in adverse environments in elevated temperatures.
